Staff Psychiatrist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluate, diagnose, prescribe and, if necessary, dispense medication to program clients.
Provide information and education on medication needs, usage and side effects to clients and family.
Monitor client's response to prescribed medication
Provide consultation to program staff as appropriate
Provide medical direction to case assessment, treatment plans, and service provision.
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations as needed.
Provide recordkeeping in an accurate and timely manner as required.
Maintain a valid Medicare and Medicaid provider number.
Perform all other duties as routinely assigned.

HOURS:

35 hours per week during hours of operation
(Mon.-Thurs. 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Fri. 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Must minimally provide coverage Mon. - Thurs. until 9:00 pm

SCHEDULE:

To be established with successful candidate and shall meet client/agency needs

ON-CALL:

On-call, after hours coverage, to be provided via pager service, three weeks per month

SALARY:

Full time, full benefit

The above position meets the requirements as established by the U.S. Public Health Service's, National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program.

Residential Case Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of clients living in a group home. Provide individual counseling and support as needed. Monitor medications, teach ADL's, through an individualized personal care program. Assist clients in becoming more independent in the community. Provide transportation as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma plus experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, with 1 year previous mental health experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful.
Salary Range Commensurate with training and experience.
Hours: Rotating shifts. PRN work as needed. 40 hour week.
